A VERY BIG thank you to everyone who have sent their besh wishes during 2008 whilst I was having treatment for my 'gift from God' ! Thankfully as an Australian, we have access to some of the best medical treatment facilities in the world and a health care system that DOES work and by 'world standards' and is pretty much FREE of charge !

For anyone experiencing 'auto - immune' system diseases ... PLEASE talk to your specialist about 'Infliximab' .... this drug has given me my life back !!! It is now listed on the P.B.S as a 'prescribed drug' so instead of costing @ $4200 per treatment .... it is now FREE !!!

During the last year we have seen some horrendous price increases in material costs, increases in labour costs & the flooding of the market with 'Cheap' imported floats. Obviously NO Australian manufacturer can compete price wise against cheap imports from overseas where their labour costs to produce products can be around $0.30 USD / Hr.

Unfortunately ALL of our recent governments of both 'persuasions' have deemed that we should compete in a world market on a 'level playing field'. Well THAT policy has seen the demise of many Australian manufacturing industries which to 'compete' have re-located their manufacturing facilities overseas where labour CAN be sourced at 1/20 of what it costs to employ someone here in Australia.

Our business has been successful due to offering to a very 'niche' market, 'Custom made' floats, goosenecks & truck bodies for people who know what they want & appreciate the fact that you CAN'T get a Rolls Royce for the price of a Hyundai. Quality 'hand crafted' products made here in Australia DO cost more initially to purchase but long after the initial purchase price is forgotten .... the lasting build quility is what is admired the most.
